Theme Parks

Disney World is broken up into 4 major parks, 2 water parks, and many extra-special places

Magic Kingdom

The beginning of Disney World started in 1971 with this beautiful park.  The ability to duplicate the magic of Disneyland without any of the spacing issues of California.  The Magic Kingdom is the home where all of our favorite storybooks come to life.  From the magic of arriving on Main Street to seeing Cinderella's Castle...this park holds the hearts of many.  It is said that the timeless appeal of the Magic Kingdom lies in its simplicity.  A park that has stayed true to its roots enables everyone to feel like they are coming home and makes newcomers feel like they are being welcomed wholeheartedly into this magical secret.

Epcot

Travel the World, Under the Sea, or into the future with this amazing park.  Epcot...or the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, opened its gates in 1982 to be the second park in Walt Disney World.  When you walk into the park, you are greeted by Spaceship Earth and its geometric globe.  The journey through the World Showcase is truly amazing, even for someone who has traveled the world.  To get to experience little snippets of culture ay every turn is a great opportunity.

Epcot is currently undergoing huge modifications and has the largest list of new attractions coming it's way.

Hollywood Studios

When this park opened its doors to the world in 1982, it was a reflection of old Hollywood.  With the recent openings and revamping of its lands and rides, Hollywood Studios has become the thrill ride center of Disney World.  Home to the new Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, this park now has the power to stand on its own and provide masses of entertainment. The next level of experiences now being offered can hardly be rivaled by any of the surrounding parks, Disney or otherwise!

Animal Kingdom

in 1998, Disney World opened its final park to celebrate the adventure into the animal world.  With the work of art that is the Tree of Life prominent as you enter, you want to be a part of this park's conservation message for the world.  It is an interesting combination of rides and a zoo.  With some of the best food in any of Disney World, this park is always worth a stop, even if it is for a half-day.

Personally, this park is still in a growing pains phase to me and could use another large attraction or 2 to balance out the crowd levels.
