Disney Bounding is such a fun way to celebrate your Disney side and carry the MAGIC with you wherever you go! This is a subtler way for people to express their Disney love that has a more fashion forward feeling.
Did you know that adults are not allowed to wear costumes in the parks? So, what do you do when many of us still want to show our Disney love…you know, without getting kicked out of the park. So, what is Disney Bounding? Disney Bounding is a fashion forward way to represent your favorite characters with everyday items.
I have loved getting to dive into the world of Disneybound. I usually plan out my outfits far in advance because...well, because I am over the top and completely crazy pants. So, here is what my design boards look like as I figure out what items I can use from my closet (or what I "need" to buy).
So how can you Disneybound?
I have 5 steps that I follow for designing every Disneybound outfit, that I will share with you to help make this fun idea more attainable in your everyday life. These ideas are for Sorcerer Mickey!

Break it down ...Sorcerer Mickey has his iconic red robe with the blue hat and blue tunic that peaks out from beneath his robe. His hat also has the star or galaxy pattern adorning it.
Pick your pieces ...I chose to highlight the blue with a long royal blue maxi dress, then accent it with the flowing red wrap top. This gave the look a fun yet fashionable look.
Accessorize ...Hollywood Studios used to feature a giant Sorcerer Mickey hat, because it is iconic to the role. I wanted to pay homage to this design, so I picked what was a star crown, that I refashioned into a necklace.

Add Some Fun ...My outfit still felt a little plain without the official Sorcerer Mickey hat, but I would not typically wear that when I was out in the world. I decided to fashion a fascinator out blue fabric (only because I did not have this color currently in my arsenal) and added one of my star hair clips to finish off the official look. I was feeling a little fun, so I used some of my kid’s blue hair wax to highlight my hair for an extra fun look.
Have others join in on the fun ...There are so many fun characters in Fantasia, that it would be easy to dress up one of your little's or a friend to join in on the fun.
So, if you could Disneybound as any character, who would you choose?
